FluiDyna presents nanoFluidX at international conferences

FluiDyna will present its new software nanoFluidX at two international conferences in November and December 2015. nanoFluidX is a fluid dynamics simulation tool which is based on Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) and which predicts flow in complex geometries with complex motion.

FluiDyna will show its new technology at the Altair Powertrain Seminar on November 17, 2015. The event will take place at the BMW Welt (BMW World) located in Munich. Managers from the automotive industry and software manufacturers will discuss how simulations in power train systems can be calculated more efficiently. „So, nanoFluidX can be used to predict the oiling in power train systems with rotating shafts and to analyze forces and torques on individual components of the system within a very short time“, explains Milos Stanic, product manager of nanoFluidX. „The software’s underlying method SPH is a meshless which means that no cumbersome grid generation is necessary. That’s an important advantage of nanoFluidX.“ Furthermore, utilizing the GPU technology empowers high performance simulations of real geometries.

FluiDyna will also present its highly efficient software at the European NAFEMS CFD Conference on December 3, 2015 in Unterschleißheim. FluiDyna will show how nanoFluidX can accelerate the CFD workflow. The event offers a forum where experts from different industries, academia and software manufacturers share their knowledge about CFD workflow management concepts.
